    Mark Battle


    Mark L. Battle who is currently the founder and CEO of World Fiber Technologies, a multi-million dollar industry leader in fiber optic, electrical and utility contracting, has created an impressive network of business throughout his career.

    It was through Mark’s vision that World Fiber Technologies, Inc. began and grew into the nationally recognized provider of innovative solutions for the fiber optic and wireless telecommunications industries, as well as a DOT Intelligent Transportation Systems contractor, specializing in signalization, tolling and smart highways. His 26 years’ experience in leadership, business development, strategic planning, and complex negotiation along with his strong work ethic and dedication are at the core of World Fiber’s solid construction and engineering reputation. Mark has the innate ability to integrate talent with like investments in capital equipment and technology.     In addition to World Fiber Technologies, Mark’s business experience and leadership is evident in his ability to amass an amazing portfolio of privately owned companies throughout his career. Mark has utilized his dynamic business sense mixed with his love of real estate to create Old Cashiers Realty. Old Cashiers Realty was founded out of Mark’s love of the North Carolina Mountains.     Gordon S. Myers


    Mr. Myers has a background as a Bank Executive and Senior Executive with Ingles Markets, Inc.  He started two Independent Banks in Asheville NC,  First Commercial Bank in 1980 which was sold to Centura Bank, and Forest Commercial Bank in 2008.  Myers served as President of First Commercial Bank and currently serves on the Board and Loan Committee of Forest Commercial Bank.

    As Vice President of Real Estate for Ingles Markets, Inc. from 1983-2007, Myers was responsible for site locations and  Construction of new stores as Ingles self-developed many of their own store locations. Additionaly, he handled all leasing for Ingles numerous tenants and responsible for Ingles CAP Ex. Budget for remodels and renovations.

    Myers serves as a Consultant to several Corporations, including Ingles Markets, The Biltmore Estate, Fontana Dam, NC, Delphi Development Company and Tenneco Construction Company.  His extensive background in Public Service in NC includes serving 9 years on the NC Board of Transportation, Chairman of the NC Chamber of Commerce and Chairman for the NC Economic Development Board in 2002.

    Myers is currently Chairman of the Cherokee Certification Gaming Commission and resides in Asheville  NC.

    Jeff J. Blanton


    Mr. Blanton joined Yates Insurance Agency in 2006. Prior to joining Yates Insurance Agency, Mr. Blanton served as a Senior Vice President (Shareholder) at Synaxis-Merritt & McKenzie for nine years. During his time at Synaxis-Merritt & McKenzie, he produced and managed a book of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance and Contract Surety Bonding business with annual commission revenues in excess of $1.00MM. The book of business was comprised of clients from the following industries: Construction, Real Estate Development, Commercial Properties and Hospitality.
